Mixed Bag In League 2012-02-13 11:13:00

There were mixed fortunes for our Ulster sides at the weekend in Round 2 of the Bord Gáis Energy Ladies National League.

In Division 1 the only Ulster side to pick up points was Donegal whose 4 goals helped them to a home win against Kildare.  It was goals too that decided the victory for Laois against Tyrone, where a 3 goal spree just after half time secured the home win for them.  Monaghan made the trip to Cork, but fell short losing out by 4 points.

Cavan picked up another two points in Division 2 when they entertained Tipperary at home beating them by 4points while Fermanagh made the trip to Kerry where points meant prizes for the Kingdom girls.

In Division 3 Armagh continued their winning ways with another great display against Roscommon and Down secured their first points of the campaign at home to Wexford.

Antrim and Longford battled in out in Casement Park in Division 4 with nothing seperating the sides at the final whistle.
